Lauren Barkan, Esq., LL.M.

BACKGROUND

Lauren Barkan is an attorney at Perlow, Kornick, Dorot & Bensimon PLLC, focusing her practice on estate planning, taxation, and charitable giving.  She provides a personalized, detailed and comprehensive approach to estate planning.  She graduated with distinction from Georgetown University Law School with an LL.M. in taxation and a certificate in State and Local Tax.  Lauren has significant trust and estate experience, working at a large national law firm, a boutique law firm, and as Chief Counsel for an estate planning software company.  Lauren enjoys writing and is a frequent speaker on effective estate planning for various family scenarios.

Lauren continues to have meaningful impact within her community.  She founded and served as CEO of Picasso’s Children, which ran fine art youth programs at Pine Crest School, Saint Andrews School, and others.  She has served on both school and non-profit boards.  She currently serves on the board of Community Servant Leaders and is a provisional member of the Junior League of Boca Raton.
