Laura Zagarra is an associate attorney at Perlow Kornik Dorot & Bensimon PLLC, specializing in real estate transactions and corporate law.  With a strong focus on residential real estate, Laura assists clients with contract negotiations, title review, drafting conveyance documents, and facilitating closings.  In the corporate sector, Laura provides comprehensive legal services for business entity formation, including drafting formation documents, resolutions or assignments.  She also supports ongoing entity maintenance, ensuring compliance with state regulations and governance requirements.  Additionally, Laura advises clients on compliance with the Corporate Transparency Act, conducting analyses to determine reporting obligations and assisting with the preparation and submission of Beneficial Ownership Information Reports (BOIR).    

Background

Born in Bogota, Colombia, Laura’s multicultural background has enriched her legal perspective and broadened her range of clients.  Laura has lived in the US for over twenty years, where she pursued her legal career at Nova Southeastern University.  Laura has actively participated in school and community organizations including the International Law Journal, Animal Law Society, Humane Society and United Nations Association.  

Prior to joining this firm, Laura ran her own law practice where she gained valuable experience and refined her skills.
