BACKGROUND

Samuel is a Private Wealth services and international tax attorney for Perlow Kornik Dorot & Bensimon’s Aventura office. Mr. Bazylenko focuses his practice on counseling foreign and domestic clients on U.S. federal income, gift, and estate tax matters related to their cross-border investments and business activities.

Mr. Bazylenko has significant experience advising clients on tax planning with respect to foreign investment in U.S. real estate, portfolio debt, pre-immigration, expatriation, income tax treaty, tax controversy, and compliance issues. Mr. Bazylenko also assists clients navigate IRS streamlined filing compliance procedures and delinquent reporting of foreign bank and financial account (FBAR) submission procedures.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Bazylenko was a M&A tax consultant at KPMG LLP and previously externed at the United States Tax Court in Washington, D.C.
